This Request for Qualifications (the “RFQ”) is being issued by the District of North Vancouver (the “District”) to offer an opportunity for interested security system manufacturers to provide information for consideration by the District for the selection of a new unified electronic security system platform (the “Platform”) consisting of, but not limited to, access control, intrusion, video management systems and intercoms that is secure and flexible and offers compliant solutions that best meet the needs of the District. The new system will initially be for the District’s Municipal Hall (the “Hall”) located at 355 West Queens Road, North Vancouver, and the District’s Operations Centre (the “OC”) and, over time may include upgrades to various other District sites.ENQUIRIES - Bidder's should NOT use the Discussion Forum on the BC Bid Site to submit questions.For this Bid Opportunity the District will only accept inquiries ELECTRONICALLY via the District’s Bidding System. To submit a question Respondents are to click on the Bidding System’s “Submit a Question” button.Enquiries should be made no later than seven (7) calendar days before RFQ Closing. At its sole discretion the District may not respond to inquiries made within seven (7) calendar days of the RFQ Closing.ADDENDAIf deemed necessary by the District, responses to any questions and/or any additional information will be issued by the District in the form of an addendum, which shall form part of this RFQ. No oral conversation will affect or modify the terms of this Bid Opportunity or may be relied upon by any Respondent.Any addenda issued to this Bid Opportunity will be issued through the District’s Bidding System.
